Nottingham business forum recruits three new professionals to its committee

NPS Futures, a sub-committee of business forum Nottingham Professional Services (NPS), has appointed three new faces to its committee.

Joining the NPS Futures committee is Leah Smith from recruitment consultants Blusource, Alex Thompson from accountants and business advisers Smith Cooper and Claire Matthews from law firm Freeths.

The organisation, which was established in 2014 as a networking group to provide 'an independent voice for Nottingham's professional sector', set up NPS Futures to nurture the next generation of talent.

It has already bolstered the committee this year with the addition of Jordan Lavender from Foresight Group. The new appointments will enable the Futures committee to continue to host a range of networking and social events, focused on inspiring the younger generation of professionals and helping them to expand their network and knowledge via social and CPD orientated events.

Nicola Whiting, chairman of NPS Futures, said: "This is an exciting time to be part of NPS Futures Committee. Over the past year, we have organised networking events that have proved very beneficial to the careers of younger professionals who are part of the business community here in Nottingham.”

The committee is drawn from a range of disciplines from across Nottingham’s professional services sector including surveyors, architects, engineers, accountants, lawyers, wealth advisers, HR practitioners, business consultants and marketers.
