A bingo player in Nottingham has celebrated after hitting the £50,000 jackpot at Buzz Bingo in Top Valley.
The NHS worker, who wishes to remain anonymous, has attended bingo hall in Gala Way for many years.
She said that she could not believe her ears when she heard that she had won; initially believing that the jackpot was £15,000, not 50.
The lucky winner plans to spend half of her winnings on a luxury holiday, with the other half going to her best friend who visited the club with her that night.
The fortunate friend said: “It could not have happened to a more deserving person.
“She is loving, loyal, helpful and the best friend who has always been there for me as I have for her.”
Mark Levitt, Club Manager at Buzz Bingo Nottingham Top Valley, added: “We couldn’t be happier for our lucky winner and their fantastic win!
“Everyone was cheering from their seats – it was such an exciting moment.”
The winner called HOUSE on July 2.

Following government guidelines, all Buzz Bingo halls have now reopened their doors to players.
