Nottingham bar gives budding chefs the chance to have a pop-up restaurant

If you've ever dreamed of running your own restaurant this could be just the opportunity to test the water.

Nottingham bar, the Hockley Arts Club, is opening its kitchen to budding chefs, supper clubs and pop-up restaurants for a residency in its ground floor Stockholm room.

General manager Nick Revill said: "We've got a great space and we wanted to work with the Nottingham community to do something really interesting, maybe give someone who has been dreaming of doing a food pop-up the stepping stone they need to explore their ideas.

"Equally we're excited about forming new partnerships with local brands and giving them the creative freedom to host their product in a new city centre space."

The cocktail bar, hidden behind bustling Carlton Street, serves award-winning cocktails with rooms over three floors.
