Nottingham bar appeals for return of glasses after more than 2,000 stolen

A Nottingham bar has launched a glass amnesty to recoup some of the 2,000 special branded pint pots stolen since it first opened.

MOJO's missing glasses feature the company's signature skull.

The loss has cost the bar in Thurland Street thousands of pounds.

Drinkers have until Sunday, September 12, to return any glasses they may have taken as a souvenir - and in return they will be poured a free pint of Camden Town Brewery lager, with no questions asked.

MOJO director Martin Greenhow said: "We’ve launched the MOJO Glass Amnesty to encourage the safe return of our pint glasses.

"Return your glass to our Nottingham bar by September 12, enjoy your free pint and no questions will be asked.

"Since opening our Nottingham bar, our glasses have proved to be an extremely popular piece of bar memorabilia, but to have over 2,000 of them stolen in five years has proved to be costly to the business.

"I’d like to urge you all to check your kitchen cupboards, bring back any of our glasses which might be hiding in the back of them and enjoy a pint on us as a thank you.

"We’re famous for our branding and we want to continue to serve up the residents of Nottingham in true MOJO style, help us do so by returning your glasses.”
