Notorious prisoner Charles Bronson 'leaves voicemail message' and 'confirms chat' with Scots podcaster James English'

Scots podcaster James English has released a voicemail which he claims is from notorious prisoner Charles Bronson telling him to 'keep up the good work'.

The news of his alleged call came just twenty four hours before James 'confirmed' he will be interviewing Charles who is due for parole this year on his Anything Goes podcast.

The prisoner, now 68, was jailed for seven years for armed robbery in 1974 - and subsequently took hostages in 10 sieges and attacked at least 20 prison officers.

In the released voicemail message said to have made by Bronson, who now goes by the name Charles Salvador, he says: "I've been told about you. You've interviews quite a lot of pucking people, people I know, faces, good people.

"Anyway have a chat with George he might have something for you. All the best mate. Keep up the good work, Charlie Salvador alias Bronson. Gracias Senor, adios amigos."

James English confirmed: "I have some phenomenal news for you all about a very special guest who will be coming on the podcast to tell his story, a world exclusive interview, never been done before, a guest known from all over the world.

"They've made a blockbuster film about this guest and this guest's artwork gets sold for over 20 K. I've had many people on my podcast speak very highly of this guest, but I get to speak to him directly.

"That guest is Britain's most punished prisoner Charles Bronson , the man who spent over 46 years in prison and the majority of that time has been in solitary confinement."
