Nothing plans to release at least six new smartphones in 2027, according to co-founder Akis Evangelidis.

Like many of its phone chassis, Nothing has been refreshingly transparent on its release plans over the years – regularly furnishing us with teases and reveals long before products launch.
It has also been open about absences, with CEO Carl Pei saying in January that we shouldn't expect a flagship Nothing phone this year. And while we have had three handsets since, the company has so far lived up to that promise
The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro and Phone (4a) have recently been joined by the Phone (4b), and each of them have their merits. But they are also entry to mid-range. What we need is a Nothing Phone (4) to shake things up again, and there's some news on that front.
Six new Nothing phones planned for 2027, says co-founder
Speaking to TimesNow, the brand's co-founder, Akis Evangelidis explained that although plans were tempered this year due to the global RAM and components crisis, things will be better in 2027: "It's still too early to discuss individual products, but I can say we've launched three smartphones this year, and we're looking to launch twice that number next year," he said.
"We'll share more details closer to launch, but the idea is to have a wider range of smartphones."
That could include the Nothing Phone (4) – the flagship device many hoped would appear earlier this year, but was already publicly postponed. It could also include the CMF Phone 3 Pro, which was also abandoned.
"We pulled the plug quite late," revealed Evangelidis.
"We're looking at different ways on how we could make it happen for next year. But that's still in consideration. We're staying close to how the memory price will evolve."
Nothing has continued to release headphones this year though, with the CMF Clip Pro open earbuds being the latest to hit the market. Announced earlier this week, they will be available to purchase for £79 / $99 from 15 August.
