Coastal burger van converted from a fishing boat that also sells lobster and crab

A burger van like you've never visited before offers your standard beef as well as crab and lobster rolls plus a fish butty along the Welsh coast.

According to its website , Cafe Mor is a “solar-powered-mobile-converted-fishing-boat-seaweed-kitchen.”

A unique way of describing this catering contraption is well earned as it’s a van with a hull of a boat stuck on the bottom, chalk topsy-turvy menu lists encasing the outside of the vehicle covered in drawings of waves and a lobster, and a selection of pastel beach signs next to the kitchen.

It's already gaining attention and fans as 2Chill member Lydia Stephens raved about the food, calling it, “Real artisan style food that tastes great and in an absolutely fantastic location at Freshwater West Beach.”

Lydia says, “Cafe Mor is an absolutely amazing burger van off the coast in West Wales. Not like your typical burger van, they offer lobster and crab burgers.”

Mor means sea in Welsh, which is quite fitting for the story behind Jonathan Williams first setting up the Pembroke based company.

In 2010, Jonathan was sitting at his desk in Swindon questioning how he had ever left a life by the sea for an office job in the middle of the country.

He made the decision to work part time, and set up a food van which he ran at festivals over the summer. The van took off and soon he was working a mixture of festivals and his spot in Freshwater West car park.

Now, he has made several TV appearances including Countryfile, Escape to the Country, Kate Humble’s Back to the Land among a few, and even cooked alongside James Martin.

Now permanently residing on Freshwater West throughout the summer months, Cafe Mor is going from strength to strength.
