'Not good enough' - What Liverpool, Bristol City and Leeds United are saying over striker's Swansea City links

Fans have been reacting to the news that Swansea City have made an approach for Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster.

Brewster is set to depart Anfield on loan in January in order to get more regular first-team football, having made just two appearances for the Reds so far this season.

There is plenty of competition for his signature, with Bristol City one of a number of clubs interested in him along with Leeds United.

Yet Swansea have stolen a march on the competition by making an official approach to take him on loan.

Here are what fans of each club are saying over the news.

Grafton: Would the most Bristol City outcome for this campaign be to finish seventh while Kasey Palmer and Rhian Brewster lead Swansea to the play-offs?

Swansea City

Daniel John: Ronaldo would struggle in this team, laboured would be the word I would choose.

Don: Maybe now we'll see his real style/ideas with his own players. Maybe...

Gareth Thomas: The fact that Borja has hardly featured at all in recent weeks tells us he is leaving. Looks like Brewster could be coming in pretty soon then.

Rhys: If he scores the goals I won’t complain, a very good youngster with a lot of potential. I’ll be very happy if this happens.

Liverpool

David Burden: Needs to play. Go out on loan for a couple of years, come back at 20/21, set the world on fire.

Jak Sahota: Think playing time will do him good.

What's Real: A move Brewster desperately needs.

2019 Champions of Europe: He should be sold, not good enough for LFC.

YNWA: Don't mind Brewster going on loan providing he actually gets games. No doubt he has some excellent potential, and a similar move did Harry Wilson the world of good.

Will: If he's going to be starting games it'll be fantastic for him. I know Swansea fans have been wanting this to go through.

Simon Williams: A manager he knows and can get the best out of him, and regular football. Hopefully can have a good second half of the season.

Leeds United

Adam Anderson: So if Eddie returns to Arsenal and with Clarke going back to Tottenham, we must have some options on the loan side from the Premier League. Hopefully Brewster is one of them.

LUFC views: Been talk of Brewster but I can’t see Liverpool sending him to us without guaranteed playing time!

Lee: If we send Nketiah back and end up with someone like Brewster I’ll be angry.

Marcus Simonini: I want to know if Rhian Brewster will come on loan. Leeds need a striker!
