Arsenal legend Nigel Winterburn believes Unai Emery should offload Henrikh Mkhitaryan this summer.
The English transfer window may be closed, but the windows in each of the other four big European leagues in Germany, France, Italy and Spain remain open until September 2.
A number of players have been linked with moves away from Arsenal before those windows close, although Mkhitaryan's future has not really been up for discussion of late.
Winterburn believes Mkhitaryan's future should be up for debate, however.
The Armenian midfielder struggled on the opening day of the season against Newcastle United on Sunday, finding it difficult to get into the game.
And it has been a similar story for some time now.
Winterburn told sportingbet.com: "Arsenal should look to sell Mkhitaryan to a European team this transfer window.
"When everyone is back fit for Arsenal, Mkhitaryan is going to struggle to get any game time at all during the season. He looks a frustrated figure, nothing seems to be working out for him on the pitch – his passes are misplaced, his shooting is off and he can’t beat his man.
"His performance against Newcastle on the opening game of the season wasn’t good enough, especially when you’re playing at the highest level.
"No doubt, Mkhitaryan is a talented player but he’s going to struggle to hold down a regular position when everybody’s fit."
