Not everyone agrees that the Redskins need help at wide receiver

One of the near-universal opinions about the Washington Redskins this season is that they need to get better at the receiving position.

However, there’s one analyst who would disagree.

On Monday’s Redskins 100 show, analyst Trevor Matich expressed some content with the WR position in Washington, saying that he thinks the team has some good talent out on the numbers.

“I like it better than I have in recent years, especially if Paul Richardson stays healthy,” Matich said, via NBC Sports Washington.

Of course, that’s a pretty big qualifier, considering that Richardson has dealt with injuries for most of his NFL career. But still, Matich’s optimism has to be somewhat encouraging.

“I think that when you take a look at all the other guys, Trey Quinn in the slot, things like that, this receiving corps is fine,” he said. “It’s not desperate. They don’t need to invest resources to bring extra people in.”

If Matich ends up being right and Washington is serviceable out on the numbers, the outlook for future Redskins’ seasons looks bright.
