'Not clever' - Every word Sabri Lamouchi said after Nottingham Forest lost to Cardiff City

Nottingham Forest were beaten 1-0 at home by Cardiff on Saturday afternoon.

Afterwards, Sabri Lamouchi spoke to the media and here is every word from his post match press conference.

Was it one of those days?

"It's a big disappointment because it's another loss at home after West Brom and Hull. We missed a lot. We created a lot.

"We started very well and missed with Sammy and Joao Carvalho. They scored with one shot in the first half and Joe Worrall cleared (off the line) in the second.

"We tried a lot but we were not clever. Unfortunately it's like this, but it's a big disappointment."

The goal seemed to knock the stuffing out of you

"We need to work more. We know about that.

"The problem is not only that. The most difficult thing in football is to score.

"To score you need to create. We create a lot but the final pass wasn't clever.

"There was good commitment from the players. If you give something to the opponent they will give you nothing."

You had 30 shots but only two on target. Does that sum up the afternoon?

"The numbers are clear. We can do more than that.

"We created big chances but did not hit the target."

That's unusual for you because you're normally clinical

"I agree. Sometimes it's the opposite. I'm very disappointed but there was good commitment from the players.

"There was a good atmosphere from the fans. We had a good result away.

"We need to keep going. It's a very difficult reserved.

"We deserved more than nil points."

Were the players to keen to impress?

"Probably. If you don't score you need to be very focussed defensively.

"When they scored it was clear for them. Wait, wait, wait and play on the counter attack.

"They only created one chance in the second half. Sometimes we played quickly.

"Sometimes we missed one or two chances. The final pass wasn't clever."

It's a shame after doing so well away

"Exactly. At home we must be more consistent. Tonight we missed a lot."

You made a change with the goalkeeping situation with Jordan Smith coming onto the bench for Aro Muric. What is the position there?

"There is no position. This your question for tonight? We lost. There is no problem at all."
