'Not big enough' - Aston Villa fans laugh at Arsenal amid £100m Jack Grealish transfer talk

Jack Grealish is having an outstanding season.

The England international has six goals and nine assists in the Premier League, helping Aston Villa into the top half of the table and on the brink of the European places.

Grealish reportedly came close to joining Tottenham three seasons ago, when Villa were still in the Championship, but Spurs could not get a deal done before the Midlands outfit secured new investment and fended off any interest in their star man.

Now in the Premier League, with Grealish playing for his boyhood club, it seems unlikely he would leave, considering where Villa re in the league table too.

That has not stopped the rumours though.

Now it is Tottenham's north London rivals who are linked with a transfer, among others, with Manchester City also thought to be interested.

There has already been plenty of talk of a £100million transfer fee, which would seem too large for the Gunners to shell out in the summer, given the coronavirus crisis.

Gunners fans can dream, though, which is something the Villa fans believe they and anyone who thinks he could leave for the Emirates are doing.

Arsenal will be able to see first hand what Grealish is capable of when they face Villa in the league this weekend.

But as you can see from the reaction above on Twitter, they think any move to Arsenal is laughable.
