Not a single new coronavirus case recorded in Leeds in the last 24 hours

No new positive coronavirus cases were recorded in Leeds hospitals according to the latest figures.

It comes as Yorkshire has seen one of its lowest increases in positive coronavirus cases since the pandemic began as over half of the local authorities saw no increase in cases.

Just 10 more Covid-19 cases were confirmed in the latest figures as seven local authorities in Yorkshire reported no increase.

This brings the total number of cases across the county to 13,971.

In Leeds the figure stands at 1,855.

Wakefield and Kirklees saw the highest increases with four cases each.

With Bradford, North Yorkshire, Rotherham and Sheffield reporting just one more positive case each.

The news comes as it was confirmed that a further nine people lost their lives to the deadly virus.
