Norwich vs Man Utd LIVE: Premier League 2019 commentary live stream, latest score, lineups, prediction

Welcome to the Evening Standard's Premier League coverage of Norwich City vs Manchester United, with kick-off scheduled for 4:30pm BST at Carrow Road today.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side start the day in 15th place, but after coming within five minutes of beating league leaders Liverpool and ending their search for an away win against Partizan Belgrade midweek, there might be reason for (marginal) optimism.

They take on a Norwich side today who are without a league win since stunning Manchester City in September.

Prediction: Norwich 1-3 Man Utd: The visitors are still struggling for form but against Norwich's leaky defence, they may be able to find a way through today.

TV/stream: The match will not be available to watch live in the UK, so follow all the action with our dedicated LIVE match blog.

Man Utd team news and predicted lineup

Paul Pogba hasn’t played since the draw with Arsenal last month - and despite travelling to Dubai to recuperate during the international break, is still to return to fitness.

David de Gea will be back after missing the trip to Belgrade, but United will assess Nemanja Matic and Luke Shaw, who were both sent to Dubai this week for the final stage of their recoveries.

Shaw has been out since August with a hamstring strain, while Matic missed the draw with Liverpool with what was described as a minor problem. Axel Tuanzebe had to pull out of that game after hurting his hip in the pre-match warm-up.

Solskjaer is likely to stick with his newly-formulated 3-5-2 system against a Norwich side who stunned Manchester City with a 3-2 win at Carrow Road earlier this season.

Possible Man Utd XI: De Gea; Lindelof, Maguire, Rojo; Wan-Bissaka, McTominay, Lingard, Fred, Young; Martial, Rashford

Head to Head record (H2H)

In 67 meetings with the East Anglian side, Manchester United have won 37 and lost 17, drawing the other 13.

There have been eight Premier League fixtures between the sides played at Carrow Road, with the Red Devils victorious on six of those occasions, including their last visit in 2016, when Juan Mata’s strike sealed a 1-0 win.
