Norwich vs Man City lineups: Confirmed team news and starting XIs - Kevin de Bruyne on the bench

Manchester City defender John Stones returns against Norwich City after a thigh injury.

He takes the place of Aymeric Laporte, who is facing a lengthy lay-off after undergoing knee surgery.

Kevin de Bruyne is among the substitutes despite his fine recent form, with Pep Guardiola opting for a midfield three of Ilkat Gundogan, Rodri and Bernardo Silva.

Norwich have been hit by a string of injury setbacks ahead of the visit of the Premier League champions.
