Daniel Farke is waiting on a late fitness test to assess whether Grant Hanley and Max Aarons will be fit to face Tottenham Hotspur in Norwich City's final game of 2019.
The German could be without any recognised central defender if Hanley is unable to play against Spurs.
Speaking ahead of the visit of Jose Mourinho's team, the Canaries boss spoke about working merely with what he had available to him in the Championship prior and how he will lean on that experience to find solutions.
Earlier this season, Norwich almost cost champions Manchester City points in a 3-2 loss despite having 11 injuries on their books.
While Tottenham may be favourites for the match at Carrow Road, they cannot afford to take their opponents lightly, even if the Canaries are currently bottom of the table in the Premier League.
"We also have some late decisions because Grant Hanley is just coming back from injury and I'm not sure if he can handle three games in seven days, also some other knocks against the players," said Farke, as reported by Pinkun.com.
"We have some other options and for that I think we will use our squad in this moment, but at this moment I can't predict how many changes I will make, it also depends on the condition of the players."
Aarons may also miss the game after needing treatment on an injury in Norwich's Boxing Day match against Aston Villa.
"I think when he won the ball he got a kick against his Achilles and it's pretty swollen, pretty painful for him," added Farke.
"I hope it's not too bad, we have to wait just a short time to recover, just 48 hours, I hope he's okay for the next game."
Norwich face Crystal Palace on New Year's Day and could deploy former West Ham full-back Sam Byram in place of Aarons for the visit of Spurs.
