Norwich fans slam 'disgraceful' Arsenal star after incident with Man United player Brandon Williams

Norwich City fans have slammed Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka after he was involved in a coming together with Manchester United loanee Brandon Williams.

The Gunners attacker was thrust into the spotlight after the Canaries faithful highlighted an apparent stamp on Williams during their clash on Boxing Day.

VAR chose not to intervene and officials ruled that Saka had unintentionally landed on the on-loan United left-back in the second half.

The score was 2-0 at the time after Kieran Tierney added to Saka's early goal, before Arsenal added three in the second half to ensure they left Carrow Road an emphatic 5-0 win.

Saka added a second just 15 minutes after the incident to rub salt into the wounds of the aggrieved home supporters.

They were not pleased with the actions of the England international and lack of intervention from the video assistant.

Despite their precarious league position, Williams has expressed his intent to see out his spell with Dean Smith's side as they look to pull off the great escape with 21 games remaining.

He said: "I am not looking at what is going on at United this season. I am not interested in being there this season because I have a job to do with Norwich. That is my job."
