Norwich City vs Crystal Palace confirmed line ups: Roy Hodgson names unchanged XI

Roy Hodgson has named the same Crystal Palace side that drew with Southampton to go up against Norwich City this evening.

The Eagles have been plagued with injuries during the festive period but have been able to maintain some consistency for the trip to face the Canaries.

Speaking after the draw with Southmpton, Hogson had suggested it could be a similar team.

He said: "You look at [Jairo] Riedewald, that is his first full game at left-back for us, and in two-and-a-half years with me, he hasn't played too often.

"Martin Kelly was injured, but played at right-back, he is a centre-back really.

"James McCarthy, that was only his second full game.

"Max Meyer as well hasn’t played much, but they all go out there and I doubt many people would be looking and saying 'what is he doing out there?'

"And if they are the ones who go out there against Norwich, or even if it is a couple of the U23s, I will trust them to do the job."

Youngsters may not have made the starting group but Brandan Pierrick Sam Woods, Nya Kirby and James Daly all have a place on the bench.

On the other hand Norwich have made three changes  with Sam Byram, Todd Cantwell and Kenny McLean returning in place of Jamal Lewis, Marco Stiepermann and Onel Hernandez.

Crystal Palace XI: Guaita; Kelly, Tomkins, Sakho, Riedewald, Meyer, McCarthy, Milivojevic, McArthur, Zaha; Ayew

Norwich XI: Krul; Aarons, Zimmermann, Hanley, Byram; Tettey, Vrancic, Buendia, Cantwell, McLean; Pukki
