Norwich chief makes Skipp confession
Norwich City sporting director Stuart Webber has confirmed that the newly-promoted Premier League club have already made contact with Tottenham about the prospect of signing midfield ace Oliver Skipp once again ahead of the 2021/22 season.
Skipp joined Norwich on a season long-loan at the start of this season and played an instrumental role in helping Daniel Farke's side secure an immediate return to the Premier League, winning the Championship title for the second time in three seasons.
Skipp, a defensive midfield operator, featured in 45 of the Canaries' 46 league games and proved to be a real hit with the fans.
Now, transfer guru Webber has admitted that Norwich would like to keep hold of him.
Webber said: "I have spoken to Spurs already. I have obviously spoken to Oliver [Skipp] already. And his representative. We'd love to keep him.
“What's key for us is we'll always leave a place open for him, because his impact is huge. But I think there's a few things which need to fall into place for that."

Rodgers warned about Spurs job
Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers would be inheriting a "mess" if he was to replace Mourinho at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
That is according to former Chelsea and England midfielder Joe Cole, who has warned the former Liverpool boss to avoid taking over in north London.
Rodgers has been closely linked with the Spurs job since Mourinho's exit last month, with the Foxes chief understood to be on the club's shortlist of candidates.
However, Rodgers has been urged to stay in the East Midlands by Cole, despite interest from Spurs, as well as from north London rivals Arsenal.
Cole said: "Spurs and Arsenal are a mess at the moment."

Mason looking forwards
Interim Spurs head coach Ryan Mason insists he is focused on finishing the season strongly, and is not looking over his shoulder at the momentum Arsenal are gaining.
The Gunners moved to within just one point of Spurs on Wednesday evening with a 1-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, meaning the battle for a Europa League spot could go down to the wire.
But with Spurs having a game in hand against their arch rivals, Mason insists Spurs are looking up rather than down.
As quoted by the Mirror, Mason explained: "I know the importance when you represent this football club of finishing above them .
"Of course I'm a Tottenham man. I know that.
"We can't think about that. We have to think about winning our games and the priority for us is this weekend.
"Of course I know what it means to the fans to finish above them."
