Norwich City handed double fitness blow ahead of Tottenham FA Cup clash

Norwich City could be without two key players for the trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday evening with both Teemu Pukki and Alexander Tettey missing training due to illness.

The Canaries travel to Spurs on the back of a morale-boosting 1-0 win over Leicester City in the last outing in the Premier League and will be looking to build up momentum by making it through to the quarter-final of the FA Cup.

However, Daniel Farke has confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Norwich will definitely be without four players for the game with Christoph Zimmermann, Onel Hernandez, Sam Byram and Timm Klose all out injured, while Pukki and Tettey could be out due to illness.

Mourinho wary of Norwich ahead of cup clash

Pukki has made an immediate impact on the Premier League this season, scoring 11 goals, although he has not found the back of the net in his last four league games.

Defensive midfielder Tettey has made 22 Premier League appearances this season, scoring one goal.

However, both may have been left out of the team for the trip to Tottenham anyway with Farke likely to make changes ahead of the Canaries' big Premier League game vs Sheffield United on Saturday as they look for an improbable escape from relegation.

Pukki has played just one minute in the FA Cup this season, while Tettey has been an unused substitute in both games.
