Norwich City and Sheffield United both keen on Bristol City star on loan from Chelsea - reports

Norwich City and Sheffield United are both reportedly keen on summer moves for Kasey Palmer.

The Chelsea youngster is currently on loan at Bristol City and has made a good impression on fans at Ashton Gate.

Both Norwich and Sheffield United were promoted over the weekend and the Sun have claimed that both clubs are keeping tabs on his availability.

The report claims that Palmer would be available for just £4m - although Bristol Live understands that the Robins have an option to buy him in the summer.

That would mean City would effectively get first dibs on Palmer should they wish to turn his loan move into a permanent transfer.

However, with Premier League interest, Palmer may well opt to turn down the Robins in favour of a move elsewhere.

The revealing statistic that shows where Bristol City, Middlesbrough and Leeds United have fallen behind their closest rivals

Whilst he has made a good impression on Robins fans, he has struggled for starts since moving on loan in January.

The 22-year-old has started just one league match for the club but has come off the bench 12 times.

Palmer has already had one spell in the Premier League, spending the first half of the 2017/18 season on loan at Huddersfield, but he struggled to make much of an impact, making four league appearances.
