Norway vs England LIVE
Fifa Women's World Cup 2019, quarter-final
Venue: Stade Océane, Le Havre
Kick-off time: 8pm BST
Live stream: BBC One/BBC iPlayer
Referee: Lucila Venegas

England are three games away from glory as they face Norway in the World Cup quarter-finals tonight following an extraordinary last-16 win over Cameroon.

The Lionesses take on the Norwegians in Le Havre for a place in the last four, four days on from beating Cameroon 3-0 in an ill-tempered contest in Valenciennes - with Cameroon facing disciplinary measures from Fifa as a result.

Phil Neville's side must put memories of that match to one side and focus on the task at hand, with a semi-final against either hosts France or holders USA on offer.

Follow all tonight's drama LIVE with Standard Sport, with Dan Kilpatrick in Le Havre for all the latest coverage and analysis.

England team news and predicted line-ups

England captain Steph Houghton trained with her team-mates on Wednesday afternoon while fellow centre-back Millie Bright sat out.

Earlier in the day boss Neville had said both were "major doubts" for Thursday.

Houghton was hurt in the closing stages of the 3-0 last-16 victory over Cameroon on Sunday when she was caught on the ankle by Alexandra Takounda, while Bright has been suffering with a virus.

Every other member of Neville's 23-player squad trained. Abbie McManus and Leah Williamson can come in at centre-back and Neville stressed the confidence he has in them.

England XI (4-2-3-1): Bardsley; Bronze, Houghton, McManus, Stokes; Scott, Moore; Parris, Kirby, White; Duggan

Norway XI (4-4-2): Hjelmseth; Wold, Mjelde, Thorisdottir, Minde; Saevik, Risa, Engen, Reiten; Hansen, Herlovsen

Prediction: Norway 1-2 England

Norway have been tricky customers so far, winning twice to finish second behind hosts France in Group A before beating Australia on penalties in the last-16.

Martin Sjögren's side showed nerves of steel to score all their penalties in the 4-1 shootout win, so the Lionesses will want to try to get what they can to win this one before the drama of spot-kicks.
