Norway's mystery Eurovision Song Contest entry rumoured to be A1's Ben Adams

Norway's mystery group Subwoolfer has stumped fans across the world as they continue to guess who exactly is under those yellow wolf masks.

The pop music duo, which will represent Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest, shot to fame after winning Melodi Grand Prix 2022 but to this day, no one knows their true identities.

Rumours have now been swirling around that one of the members could actually be A1 star Ben Adams.

The singer and songwriter from Ascot currently lives in Norway with his fiancée Sara Skjoldnes and their daughter Skylar, so the theory would not be too farfetched.

A Porsche, reportedly registered to the 40-year-old, was also spotted outside the H3 Arena in Bærum, at the same time Subwoolfer were recording their backup performance for Eurovision.

But a recent story posted on Ben's Instagram page cast doubt on the theory - or he was just trying to throw fans off his scent.

In the clip, he can be seen watching Subwoolfer perform while saying: "What on earth am I watching? This is amazing! Why couldn’t I have been in this band?"

Subwoolfer, who bizarrely claim that their career began "4.5 billion years ago on the Moon", will be performing their song Give That Wolf a Banana at the 66th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest this week.

This year's event will be hosted by Laura Pausini, Alessandro Cattelan and Mika and broadcast live from The Pala Olimpico Arena in Turin, Italy.

As one of the Big Five countries (United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, France, Italy), the United Kingdom does not have to qualify from the semi-final stage of the competition and will gain automatic access to the grand final on Saturday.

TikTok sensation Sam Ryder will represent the UK this year with his song Space Man.
