April 06--As a biomedical engineering student at Northwestern University, Sabrina Fritz is used to preparing for tests -- but there's no study guide for "Jeopardy."
"I've pretty much been studying for this my whole life," said Fritz, 23.
Fritz's turn on the quiz show is set to air 3:30 p.m. Wednesday on WLS-Ch. 7. Her appearance comes two months after a Northwestern freshman competed in the quarterfinal round of the "Jeopardy" College Championship.
Fritz said she grew up in St. Charles, Mo., watching "Jeopardy" and annoying her parents with facts and trivia. She competed in quiz bowl games in high school and began participating in pub trivia after arriving at Northwestern.

She said she took an online test for the show two years ago but didn't hear back about the results. She tried again in January 2015 and got an invitation to audition for the show in Kansas City. She filmed Wednesday's episode Feb. 23 in Los Angeles.
Fritz, a fifth-year senior, said she prepared for the competition by reviewing old quiz bowl packets and practicing with a university buzzer set. She also brushed up on geography, her weakness, by constantly studying maps.
Her friends will join her Wednesday afternoon at Northwestern's Norris University Center to see if her studying paid off.
"I've been through some pretty incredible tests but 'Jeopardy' is definitely up there," Fritz said.
