The police have released images of a man they wish to speak to after two women were assaulted in Northolt last week.

At 9.28am on August 10, police were called to reports that a woman was sexually assaulted on Church Road, Northolt.

Following further enquiries, it was established that the incident took place at 5am in the nearby underpass at the White Hart roundabout.

A second woman later approached local officers claiming she had been raped in the underpass at around midnight the same day.

No arrests have been made at this stage and both incidents are being treated as linked.

Detective constable Stephen Gayfer said: “We are doing all we can to support these women and to investigate these allegations.

“Our enquiries have led us to identify a man seen on CCTV who we urgently want to identify and speak to.

“I urge anyone who recognises this man, or who was in the area at the time of these incidents and saw anything suspicious, to come forward.”

Anyone with information should call 101 with the reference 1980/10AUG.

Information can also be provided to Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
