Northland Road closed after serious collision

A Derry road has been closed following a crash on Thursday morning, police say.

The Northland Road has been closed is closed at the junction with the Rock Road.

Emergency services are currently on the scene and diversions have been put in place.

"This is due to a road traffic collision. We will update you as soon as it's cleared."

There are no further details at this time.

A spokesperson said: "Until further notice, please avoid the Rock Road and Northland Road in Londonderry.
