Northern Territory Police searching for man last seen driving out of Katherine five days ago

Northern Territory police are searching for a man who has been missing for five days after driving out of the Top End town of Katherine.

Robert Daw, 31, was last seen on December 23 leaving the area in a white Toyota single cab ute with registration CE 96 CH.

A number of major roads across the Northern Territory have been flooded in recent days due to widespread rain from former tropical cyclone Ellie.

However, police have not confirmed whether Mr Daw's disappearance was related to the flooding.

Mr Daw was last seen wearing a white shirt with the words "Never Stop" on the chest and black Chicago Bulls basketball shorts.

Anyone with information on Mr Daw's whereabouts is urged to contact police on 131 444 and quote reference number 10214896.

UPDATE December 29: Northern Territory police say Mr Daw, 31, has been found and thank the public for their assistance.
