Increases to train fares already this year have left many commuter furious but there is now a way rail users could save money despite the 2.7% increase.
Northern Rail's flash 10p sale is back today with the company giving away thousands of adult tickets for 10p.
Advanced tickets can be booked for travel between January 13 and February 14 and then between February 24 and 29, but it's first come first serves so anyone who wants to get hold of one is being told to act quickly.
Due to Northern Rail usually offering kids travel for half price it means the offer will include children's tickets for 5p.
Northern Rail is yet to reveal at exactly what time the sale will go live on its website, but you'll be able to find it here when it does.
The statement currently on its website says: "Our 10p Flash Sale returns today. That means you can get your hands on Advance train tickets for just 10p!
"There are over 180,000 available for travel between 13 Jan-14 Feb and 24-29 Feb, so be quick because once they’re gone, they’re gone.
"That's not all either, as kids travel half price, your little ones can go for an even smaller price of just 5p."
