Northern Irish crime drama Bloodlands broke records for gaining the most amount of NI viewers for its first episode. Over the course of four weeks, we followed the twists and turns of this taut, Strangford-based drama, as DCI Tom Brannick worked to uncover the mystery of the Goliath serial killer.

After its finale aired in March 2021, the BBC confirmed that a second season had gotten the green light. There have been no further details about when filming will actually take place, but all being well, we could see Bloodlands return in 2022.
