Three Northern Irish products have received Golden Fork nominations for this year's Great Taste Awards 2021.
Great Taste, the largest and most trusted food and drink awards on the planet, will reveal its 'Supreme Champion 2021' on Sunday 17 October, during a ceremony held in Harrogate.
This will follow on from the first day of the 'Fine Food Show North'.
Three Northern Irish products have already received 3-star Great Taste awards, which puts them in contention with winning the Supreme Champion Awards.
Out these products, which will now be re-judged, just one will receive a 'Great Taste Golden Fork Trophy'.
Products from the UK, Ireland and beyond, are nominated for the Golden Fork trophies from their region and are all in with a chance of scooping the top honour of Great Taste Supreme Champion 2021.
The nominees for the Northern Irish region are:
- Lisdergan Butchery in Omagh, Tyrone for its Great Taste 3-star award-winning Murley Mountain Rack of Lamb
- Morelli Ice Cream in Coleraine, Derry for its Great Taste 3-star award-winning Caramelised Hazelnut Ice Cream
- Rooney Fish in Newry, Down for its Great Taste 3-star award-winning Millbay Oysters
Commenting on their nomination, Lisdergan Butchery said: "We are delighted to announce that we have won 6 awards for our products in the Great Taste Awards, one of which is the coveted 3 star that enters us into the golden fork awards the champion of champions."
