A Northern Ireland cake creator business has found itself named amongst the Top 50 Cake Designers in the UK.
Sugar Flower Cake Company, a wedding cake company based just outside of Belfast, was awarded the title earlier this month.
The list of the Top 50 was compiled by GoHen, a wedding and hen-do company who compile annual rundowns each year of everything from wedding photographers to wedding dress shops.
Cake designers from across the UK were chosen based on a variety of factors including services, style, eye for detail and more.
Given that the wedding industry, as with many sections of society, are struggling as a result of the Covid pandemic, this list is aimed to showcase great local talent across the UK.
Writing about why they chose Sugar Flower Cake Company, GoHen said: "These Belfast-based cake creators have us mesmerised. We only dropped in on their website to have a quick peek at what they were up to and we found ourselves lost in amongst their amazing designs for hours (hopefully our bosses aren’t reading this!).
"We were blown away by their traditional cakes and then we clocked the quirky and fell desperately in love. The ET one, in particular, is next level."
