Meet the Northern Ireland youngster who can count Marcus Rashford, Kenny Miller and Niko Kranjcar as former team mates.
Blackpool midfielder Jordan Thompson was part of the same youth stream as England star Rashford and Scott McTominay during a four year spell at Manchester United .
He later moved to Rangers where he made three appearances alongside the likes of Miller, former Spurs star Kranjcar and present day captain James Tavernier.
“I moved to Manchester United at 14 and Marcus was in the same youth team,” said Thompson, who won his third cap in this month’s friendly win over Luxembourg.
“We all went to school together. Scott McTominay was in my age group, Rashford was the year below me with Axel Tuanzebe.
“Marcus has gone on to make a real name for himself, even at an early age you always knew he had that ability to kick on.”
On joining Rangers in 2015, he added: “I played three games and training every day with the likes of Kenny Miller, Lee Wallace, Kranjkar, Joey Barton was a great experience.”
