Northern Ireland Women's revised Euro qualifying schedule announced

Northern Ireland Women's revised Euro qualifying schedule has been announced.

Kenny Shiels' side will face the Faroe Islands and Belarus twice between September and December after the original games were postponed in April and June due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Northern Ireland sit fourth in their group with two points after twice drawing with Wales and going down twice to top seeds Norway.

They will return to action away to the Faroe Islands on September 18 as originally scheduled.

The away trip to Belarus will now take place on October 27.

The home tie against Belarus will take place on the November 27 before hosting the Faroe Islands to round off the campaign on December 1.

The tournament in England has also been put back a year until the summer of 2022.

Should Northern Ireland win their remaining fixtures they could finish in second place in the group which would secure a play-off spot.

The last time Northend Ireland played was on March 9 in the Pinatar Cup against Scotland who went on to win the competition.

All fixtures will be subject to UEFA, government and health guidelines in relation to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
