After a scorching week in Northern Ireland, temperatures are falling and thunderstorms are set to hit.
A weather warning has been issued by the NI Weather and Flood Advisory Service and is in place from 9am on Wednesday until 8pm.
The level 1 alert is for heavy showers and thunderstorms across the region with further risks of flooding possible.
A spokesperson for the service said: "Showers and some longer spells of rain have already been affecting parts of NI this morning this will become more widespread to affect most parts throughout this afternoon and evening.
"Some of these will be very heavy at times and will be slow moving leading the risk of flooding.
"There is a risk again today of thunderstorms developing in places during this afternoon these again will be slow moving with the potential large amounts of rainfall in a short space of time leading to risk of flooding in places.
"The showers/thunderstorms are likely to be hit and miss with some places remaining dry throughout, although where they do occur you can expect - heavy rainfall, along with possible lightning, risk of localised flooding and possible localised interruptions to power supplies."
The Met Office said: "A few bright or sunny intervals but mostly cloudy. Some slow moving showers developing, heavy and prolonged in places with a chance of thunder. Light winds. Maximum temperature 18C."
And for tonight, they say temperatures will drop to below 12C and further cloud and rain will spread from the northwest in the early hours.
