Heavy thunderstorms are expected to hit Northern Ireland on Saturday as a yellow weather warning is issued across the weekend.
The Met Office has warned of slow-moving thundery showers through the day, with a risk of producing torrential downpours.
Heavy rain and even hail stones could cause local flooding and disruption to travel.
Also subject to the yellow thunder weather warning is most of Scotland and a large part of the north of England.
While many areas will miss the worst of the thundery showers, a few spots could see 15-25 mm within an hour and 30-40 mm within three hours.
It is possible some of these may become slow-moving and prolonged - most likely across parts of southern Scotland, leading to the potential for 60-80 mm of rain in 6-12 hours.
The weather warning, which is set to last into the early hours of Sunday, could mean a chance of power cuts and services to homes and businesses could be lost.
Today’s wash out weather saw torrential downpours across Northern Ireland, with reports of fallen trees and traffic disruption.
According to reports in the Republic, as many as 10,000 customers were left without electricity overnight into this morning.
