It might officially be the start of British Summertime but this week is set to feel more like winter with temperatures set to plummet.
The latest forecast from the Met Office for the week ahead says we can expect temperatures dipping to -1 with snow also on the horizon.
Tonight, we can expect a band of heavier rain to cross eastwards followed by clearer colder weather, with some heavy, locally wintry showers following to the west overnight. There will be icy patches on the roads with a minimum temperature of -1C.

The outlook for Tuesday suggests a bright day with some sunshine, also some showers, some of which will be heavy and occasionally wintry with snow on the hills. We can also expect some isolated thunder and light winds with a maximum temperature of 9C.
Looking towards the second half of the week doesn't seem to portray a much better picture with more snow forecast. The Met Office say showers will be heavy at times with snow on the hill tops and feeling cold.
