But temperatures will remain high and there is a chance of some sunny spells, although it will be cloudier and greyer than we have been used to.
Greg Dewhurst, a forecaster for the Met Office said: "Friday is going to be an alright day, generally cloudier than what we have had but mostly dry. We could catch one or two light showers but overall it is going to be dry, maybe some sunny spells with a maximum temperature of 18/19C.
"It does become a bit more unsettled for the weekend.
"For Saturday it is generally going to be cloudier with some patchy, light rain throughout the day across Northern Ireland. It is going to be heavier with some gaps in that at times.
"There will be a lot of low cloud so it will be a greyer and duller day. As a result of the cloud we will see a maximum temperature of 13/14C.
"Sunday will see some sunshine with scattered showers and perhaps the odd rumble of thunder but sunny highs of 16/17C.
"Next week Monday will be similar, but perhaps less cloud around, sun and a few showers with temperatures of 17C. Tuesday is the same, sunny with a risk of one or two showers.
"Overall the next few days look not as nice and sunny as it has been for the last four or five days, but nothing too bad."
