Northern Ireland weather forecast warning over "visibility"

Those travelling on Friday night and Saturday morning have been advised of a yellow fog warning that's expected to affect visibility.

The NI Weather & Flood Advisory Service said that the warning is in place from 3.30pm on Friday until midday on Saturday.

They said: "Freezing fog is affecting parts of NI this afternoon, it is expected to become more widespread into this evening, overnight and tomorrow morning.

"Visibility will be significantly reduced leading to a risk of disruption to travel. (Especially air travel).

"The public are advised to take extra care if driving and remember to use fog lights (switch lights off again if fog clears)."
