The weather forecast for the week ahead in Northern Ireland shows a return to dry and brighter conditions for most of this period.
The Met Office has forecast a cloudy start for the new working week with heavy rain in some places on Monday.
The good news is that the cloud and rain will sink to the south later to leave a dry and fine afternoon, with plenty of sunshine.

After that it will be a mainly dry and bright few days with sunny spells but also turning cooler with brisk northwesterly winds.
But as a new week begins, lets take a look at what the weather forecaster has predicted for the week ahead.
Here is the latest weather forecast for this week:
Dry this morning. Heavy rain this afternoon, clearing this evening.
Monday:
Cloudy at first with still some rain, gradually clearing away southwards during the morning. Then drier and brighter in the afternoon with some sunshine. Maximum temperature 18 °C.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
Tuesday will see a ridge of high pressure moving in. This will bring dry conditions, with mostly cloudy skies at first. Skies will clear leaving plenty of sunshine for the afternoon.
The drier weather will continue through Wednesday with mostly cloudy skies. It's a similar picture on Thursday, with mostly cloudy skies. It will be cooler, however, as winds shift northerly with a chance of the odd shower.
UK long range weather forecast
The end of next week and the weekend should be dry for most, with clear sunny spells once early mist and fog clears. Some patchy cloud and showers possible across the far north and northwest on Thursday, whilst a risk of showers in the east remains for the weekend.
Any showers or unsettled weather could come with some slightly breezier conditions, whilst winds remain mainly light elsewhere. Temperatures likely around normal, but a few cooler nights possible.
This more settled weather, with dry conditions for many, is likely to continue into the following week, however a spell of more unsettled weather with heavy rain and stronger winds cannot be ruled out. Temperatures likely to be near normal throughout the period.
