Northern Ireland weather forecast for week ahead predicts bank holiday sun

Good news for anyone who has this bank holiday Monday off as forecasters predict bright sunny spells are ahead.

According to Met Office, Monday will see any mist and drizzle clear in the morning.

The weather forecaster also said: "Becoming dry with variable amounts of cloud and some bright or sunny periods in the afternoon."

"Feeling warm away from the coast," they added.

Moving into the evening, the sun is expected to remain to give a glorious end to the bank holiday weekend.

As for tonight, Met Office said: "A dry and bright evening with some evening sunshine. Staying mainly clear overnight and feeling quite chilly in places for the time of year."

The maximum temperature for Monday is 19°C and we are expected to have experience lows of 8°C. Sunrise was at 6.29 am and will set again at 8.21pm.

Looking to Tuesday, there will be another calm and dry day.

"Another settled day with a mix of sunny spells and some cloud, most cloud feeding in to the east coast. Maximum temperature 18 °C," Met Office explained.

The outlook for Wednesday to Friday predicts: "Remaining dry and settled with some brightness although it will be rather cloudy at times. Still feeling warm in any sunnier weather."
