Northern Ireland weather forecast for the weekend

The Met Office has predicted a dry and warm weekend ahead.

Any lingering patchy cloud today will clear through this evening to leave a dry night with clear skies.

This will allow some mist and fog patches to form during the early hours with a minimum temperature of 6 C.

It's set to be warm and sunny on Friday with a maximum temperature of 20 C.

The forecaster said: "Any early mist or fog will clear to leave another dry day with plenty of sunshine."

It will stay dry from Saturday through to Monday with plenty of sunshine.

There will be patchy cloud at times and some overnight mist and fog patches are possible. Winds are to up on Monday, with rain arriving later.
