Northern Ireland weather forecast for the weekend

The Met Office has predicted an unsettled weekend weather forecast for Northern Ireland.

The next few days are expected to bring us some scattered showers with some dry spells throughout.

On Saturday morning, the day is set to start off bright with some rain in the evening.

The forecaster said: "A few showers in the northwest but for most it will be mainly dry with some sunshine.

"Cloud will thicken to bring wet and windy conditions in the evening."

They say on Sunday morning, a few scattered showers will start off our day with warmer temperatures returning in the afternoon.

They added: "Rain at first on Sunday then brightening up with some sunshine and becoming warm.

"Monday and Tuesday mostly bright and warm but with some showers possible."
