Northern Ireland weather forecast for the week ahead

It feels like the bad weather is unending in Northern Ireland over the last few weeks.

First it was Storm Ciara, and then Storm Dennis. But is it set to continue?

The effects of Storm Dennis are likely to continue into Monday, with a yellow warning for wind in place until 11am.

But as for the rest of the week, well, here's what the experts had to say.

Monday

The Met Office said: "Strong west to southwest winds bringing sunshine and showers, these quite light and infrequent for much of the day, but some turning heavier later. Maximum temperature 8C."

Tuesday to Thursday

The Met Office said: "Occasional showers and strong to gale force winds Tuesday. Wednesday mainly dry, bright initially, but soon turning dull with occasionally heavy rain, which only clears to showers early Thursday."
