Northern Ireland vs Slovakia: Irish FA urges ticketless fans to stay away from Windsor Park

The Irish FA has urged fans without a ticket for tonight's Euro play-off final to stay away from Windsor Park.

The crunch showdown between Northern Ireland and Slovakia will have only 1060 supporters in attendance due to Covid-19.

Ahead of the game at the National Football Stadium, the IFA has urged ticketless fans to enjoy the match "in a safe and responsible manner at home".

The association added in a statement: "The Covid-19 pandemic means only 1060 members of the GAWA will be cheering Ian Baraclough’s team from inside the stadium with legions more tuning in from their homes.

"Congregating outside the stadium is prohibited but fans can get involved in the pre-match build-up by joining a special live broadcast on Northern Ireland National Team’s Facebook page, featuring some special guests.

"The broadcast kicks off at 6.15pm and there will also be in-game social media updates on the Northern Ireland National Team’s social media channels throughout the evening."
