Northern Ireland continue their promising Euro 2020 qualification campaign tonight against Germany

Michael O’Neill’s side have a perfect record after four games, beating both Belarus and Estonia home and away to sit top of Group C.

The visit of former World Cup winners Germany will be a stern test, despite an embarrassing 4-2 home defeat for Joachim Low’s side against the Netherlands on Friday.

Northern Ireland beat Luxembourg 1-0 at Windsor Park on Thursday in a friendly in preparation for this crucial fixture.

Here is everything you need to know ahead of the game.

The game kicks off at 7.45pm tonight.

How can I watch it?

Sky Sports Main Event will have full coverage of the match from 7pm.

Predicted Line-Ups

Northern Ireland: Peacock-Farrell; McLaughlin, J Evans, Cathcart, Lewis; McNair, Davis, C Evans; Dallas, Magennis, Lafferty.

Odds

Northern Ireland 9/1

Draw 4/1

Germany 1/3

Prediction

With an away trip to Germany and both games against the Netherlands to come, this may be Northern Ireland’s best opportunity to pick up some points, and as such Michael O’Neill could look to attack a German side that is struggling for form and an identity.

Expect Germany to be patient with the ball and Toni Kroos to be entrusted with finding the dangerous front three of Werner, Reus and Gnabry, all of whom are goal threats.

Northern Ireland may exploit Germany’s lack of protection for their defensive line with counter attacks, and it is inevitable that the likes of Kyle Lafferty and Josh Magennis will get at least one chance considering the visitors’ fragile defence.

Northern Ireland 1-2 Germany.
