Northern Ireland to play Estonia in September friendly

Northern Ireland will take on Estonia in a friendly this September.

Ian Baraclough's side will travel to Tallinn for the game at Le Coq Arena on September 5.

The fixture comes sandwiched between two World Cup 2022 qualifiers.

Northern Ireland are in Lithuania on September 2 before returning to Belfast to face Switzerland on September 8.

Northern Ireland played Estonia in the 2020 Euro qualifiers, winning 2-0 at Windsor Park before a 2-1 victory in Tallinn.

They kick off their World Cup qualifying campaign away to Italy on March 25.

It is also expected Northern Ireland will play another friendly three days after that game, with the IFA expecting details to be "finalised shortly".
