Northern Ireland teens help Rangers clinch Under 18 league title

Three Northern Ireland teenagers are celebrating after helping Rangers Under 18s clinch the Club Academy Scotland (CAS) league title.

The young side beat St Mirren 3-1 to secure the championship for the second year on the bounce and qualify for next season's UEFA Youth League.

Belfast teen Charlie Lindsay scored the opening goal, with Arron Lyall and Rory Wilson also on target for the Rangers Academy outfit.

The Under 18 side also features Northern Ireland players Lewis MacKinnon and Ross McCausland.

It has been a brilliant season from the Rangers Academy youngsters, who finished on 25 points after 12 games.

Former LInfield youth McCausland finished as top scorer, while ex-Glentoran starlet Lindsay bagged four goals during the season.
