Northern Ireland team vs Austria as Ian Baraclough makes changes for Nations League clash

Ian Baraclough has made a number of changes for tonight's Nations League clash against Austria.

Northern Ireland are back in action just three days after beating Bosnia-Herzegovina in the Euro play-offs.

That game in Sarajevo went to extra-time and then penalties, with Northern Ireland eventually claiming a 4-3 win in the shootout.

That marathon test has forced Baraclough into making five changes for tonight's game in Belfast.

Goalkeeper Michael McGovern gets his first competitive start in three years, while there are also starts for Jordan Jones, Gavin Whyte and Kyle Lafferty who all came on as substitutes against Bosnia-Herzegovina. Conor McLaughlin is also included in the starting XI.

They come in for Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Corry Evans, George Saville, Niall McGinn and Josh Magennis.

The six players who retain their starting berths are Stuart Dallas, Jonny Evans, Craig Cathcart, Jamal Lewis, Steven Davis and Paddy McNair.

Northern Ireland:  McGovern, Dallas, Evans, Cathcart, Lewis, McLaughlin, Davis, Jones, McNair, Whyte, Lafferty
