Former Scotland underage international Matthew Kennedy has been included in Northern Ireland 's squad for the upcoming games against Holland and the Czech Republic.
Belfast-born Kennedy (24) is the only uncapped player in the 25-strong panel.
Northern Ireland take on Holland in Rotterdam on Thursday, October 10 and play the Czech Republic in a friendly four days later in Prague.
Kennedy has scored three goals in 10 games in all competitions for Tommy Wright's St Johnstone this season.
He played for Scotland from U15 to U21 level but has now officially switched allegiance to the country where he was born. He briefly trained with the Northern Ireland senior team last month.
Also included in O'Neill's squad is Cardiff City defender Ciaron Brown who made his senior debut against Luxembourg last month.
Jamal Lewis is included despite picking up an elbow injury in Norwich's 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace at the weekend.
Linfield striker Shayne Lavery - who scored a 14-minute hat-trick against Glenavon last Saturday - returns to the squad after being called up for last month's games against Luxembourg and Germany.
Hearts full-back Michael Smith returns after missed out on last month’s games against Luxembourg and Germany due to injury.
Jambos teammate Conor Washington is out with a hamstring injury.
