Northern Ireland squad named for Bosnia-Herzegovina Euro playoff

Michael O'Neill has named his squad for this month's Euro 2020 playoff semi-final.

Northern Ireland take on Bosnia-Herzegovina in Zenica on March 26.

Conor Washington, Jordan Jones and Mark Sykes all return to O'Neill's squad for the crunch game.

Hearts striker Washington and Rangers winger Jones have been missing from recent squads due to injury.

Oxford United midfielder Sykes has earned another call-up following some impressive displays in League One.

Blackburn Rovers midfielder Corry Evans misses out as he continues his recovery from a serious facial injury, while Linfield striker Shayne Lavery has also been left out.

It remains unclear whether the game will be played behind closed doors because of the coronavirus outbreak.

Tickets for the game were due to go on sale on Wednesday, but the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced on Tuesday that the sale had been postponed "for several days".

It was also confirmed on Tuesday that the Republic of Ireland's playoff against Slovakia will be played in front of an empty stadium in Bratislava.
